Baby Care is a year-round ministry of Our Saviour’s that shares care, compassion, and practical support with families locally and around the world. Through generous donations, creative hands-on service, and meaningful partnerships, Baby Care provides essential items for babies and young children while reminding families they are seen, valued, and cared for.

Through Baby Care, members of Our Saviour’s come together to create, collect, and share items that bring comfort and support to families. In September 2025, as part of God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday, our congregation assembled more than 500 care kits for families in need through Lutheran World Relief. Handmade quilts and blankets are paired with other newborn essentials and distributed through Lutheran World Relief, extending our community's care and compassion around the world.

Baby Care supports families both locally and globally through partnerships and practical care.

Locally, Baby Care works with partners including:

• Bugaboo Consign
• Rhea Lane Consignment
• Family Shelter Resale
• Our Saviour’s Refugee Ministry

Together, these partnerships help provide essential items for babies ages 6 months through 2 years.

There are many ways to support Baby Care:

• Donate gently loved baby clothing (sizes 6 months–2T)
• Donate baby blankets
• Shop resale and donate items purchased for Baby Care
• Donate flannel and cotton fabric for blankets and quilts
• Make a monetary gift to support Baby Care Ministry

Whether you enjoy creating with your hands, organizing behind the scenes, or helping bring people together, there are many ways to be part of Baby Care.

Baby Care Workshops

Join others to cut, sew, assemble, and prepare items for families in need.

When: 10 am–12 pm
When: 4th Tuesday and 2nd Thursday of the month (January–August)
Where: Celebration Campus, lower level

Sew-a-Thon

A special day dedicated to creating blankets and quilts together.

When: TBD
Time: 10 am–3 pm
Where: Our Saviour’s Campus, Fellowship Hall

Annual Assembly

Help prepare and assemble care kits for distribution.

Set-Up: Saturday, September 12 | 10 am–12 pm
Assembly: Sunday, September 13 | 8:30 am–1 pm
